What if mathematics was taught the way it was before the Industrial Revolution — not merely as a tool for exams, but as a discipline that trains the mind and helps us understand the order of God's creation?
The Learning Institute for Excellence (LIFE), Counting to Calculus, and the Association of Classical Christian Educators, Africa (ACCE Africa) have partnered to offer a year-round parent training programme in Classical Mathematics.
This programme equips parents and educators to guide children through mathematics in the classical tradition, emphasizing mastery, historical understanding, and a biblical worldview.

Who We Are
"Reforming education with Truth, Goodness and Beauty, one family at a time."
The Association of Classical Christian Educators, Africa (ACCE Africa) exists to promote and advance Classical Christian Education across the African continent and beyond. We believe that education, rightly understood, is the formation of the whole person — mind, heart, and soul — in the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty.
In an age of fragmented curricula and utilitarian approaches to learning, ACCE Africa seeks to recover the ancient and proven tradition of classical education, rooted in a biblical worldview, for the families and communities of Africa.
We envision a continent where children are educated not merely for economic productivity, but for wisdom and virtue. Where the great ideas of Western and African civilisation are studied alongside Scripture, and where students learn to think clearly, reason carefully, and communicate persuasively.
Through webinars, training programmes, publications, and community building, ACCE Africa connects parents, educators, and schools across Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, and beyond — creating a growing network of classical Christian educators committed to the renewal of education in Africa.

The Foundation
Classical education follows the natural stages of a child's cognitive development through three phases known as the Trivium — a time-tested framework that has produced some of history's greatest thinkers.
Ages 6–10
The foundation stage, where young students absorb facts, memorise, and delight in the concrete details of every subject — from multiplication tables to the names of rivers, from Bible verses to Latin vocabulary.
Ages 10–14
The analytical stage, where students learn to reason, question, and connect ideas. They study formal logic, construct arguments, and begin to understand the 'why' behind the 'what' of their earlier learning.
Ages 14–18
The expressive stage, where students learn to articulate truth beautifully and persuasively. They write essays, deliver speeches, and engage with the great questions of philosophy, theology, and science.
All subjects are taught in light of Scripture. Mathematics reveals the order of God's creation; history unfolds His providential plan; literature explores the human condition under His sovereignty.
Students engage with the greatest works of Western and African civilisation — from Homer and Augustine to Chinua Achebe — learning to think alongside the finest minds in history.
The goal of education is not merely knowledge or career readiness, but the formation of wise, virtuous persons who love what is true, good, and beautiful and serve their communities with excellence.
